Myong really listens to what you want to do and keeps discussing how the look is developing as she goes. I get color and cut every 3 months or so. Each visit, we look at all the possible color options and she takes notes on what colors/tones I love. She does AWESOME eyebrow shaping too. Its not just a wax and rip like some salons, she shows you the mirror a few times as she’s shaping the brows and uses wax, shears (what can I say I’ve got some thick brows LOL) and finally tweezes the last minuscule details. I like that you can book appointments online as well. Her location is an easy walk from work in downtown San Rafael.

I am about to go on a long trip and didn’t want a big change in my hair. I wanted to maintain my look with a bit of a fresh update. Myong delivered and also taught me ways to blow dry my hair to give me more volume. I was getting compliments all day. I will be going in for a manicure next.

Loved the trim and hair styling that I relieved from Miyong. Appreciated her attention to detail and expertise that I came back to get my eyebrows waxed a week later before I left town for a wedding. I haven’t gotten my brows done in a couple years because I always feel like I don’t look like myself afterwards. Miyong listened to what I wanted and made them look clean and spruced up! Very pleased with the service and will be coming back for future cuts and brow waxing!

Perfect location in downtown San Rafael with private parking in front. As good as it gets. Could not be more practical. No need to drive to San Francisco any more for my haircuts. I am so happy with my haircut. Ms. Yang is so talented and very nice too. It is the best haircut I have ever had.
